Not FDA-approved. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness, or quality. A licensed provider decides whether treatment is right for you, and individual results vary.

Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain, and decreased appetite.

Serious risks can include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, kidney problems, low blood sugar (especially with insulin or sulfonylureas), and serious allergic reactions. In animal studies these medicines caused thyroid C-cell tumors; do not use them if you or a family member has had medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). Do not use during pregnancy. Tell your provider about all medicines you take.

Dose carefully. Compounded products may differ in strength from other products. Always follow the dosing instructions on your pharmacy label, and contact us or your provider with any questions.

Seek medical care right away for severe stomach pain, signs of an allergic reaction, a lump or swelling in your neck, or trouble swallowing or breathing.
